Counseling For Couples
Most couples have conflicts about communication, finances, lack of sex, low intimacy, parenting differences, family issues, lack of quality time and infidelity. Both partners having their needs and desires met is critical for the relationship. Men have reported being distant and/or viewing their relationship in a negative manner when they experience being sexually rejected by their spouse. When questioned about major stressors men report a major breakdown when a combination of feeling undervalued, being overlooked at work and rejected by their spouses occur. Women reported not experiencing the desired level of intimacy and affection as a major relationship barrier. Women have reported feeling disconnected in the relationship when they are not seen, heard or understood. Not only do men and women communicate differently, but they also have different needs.
