Counseling for Women
How can you not see my pain? Women ask this question frequently. There are many signs that illustrate a woman’s pain. The internal battles become external demonstrations of a woman’s pain. Working without a passion. Being in unfulfilled relationships. Going through the motions desperately waiting for something new and exciting to happen. Longing for the time when things once was. Starting to find comfort in settling because the thought of doing more is exhausting; yet the desire for happiness is still secretly burning deep inside. Not knowing exactly what will bring on the feelings of happiness. Often times women smile while profusely crying on the inside wanting and desperately needing someone to recognize their pain. Masking pain in order to be perceived as a strong woman who can manage it all becomes a mastered skill of most women. Feeling guilty for being tired and overwhelmed when looking at other women appear to be holding things together. Thinking what’s wrong with me? What does she know that I don’t? How can she do it all with so much ease and I can’t even do half? On average women may experience a minimal of three different emotions throughout her day. Learning how to acknowledge, understand and manage the emotions require skill and practice. Do you want to feel whole again? Are you seeking to enjoy your life and eliminate consistent feelings of being unfulfilled? You’re not alone nor do you have to do this alone. Through counseling at Creating Change, PLLC a safe and judgment-free space is provided for a woman to genuinely be herself without wearing the mask. Working together towards meaningful and lasting results that you desire is our goal.
Counseling For Couples
“I feel us drifting apart. We didn’t use to be this way. In the beginning we loved the sight of each other. We couldn’t wait to be in one another’s presence. Now it’s the complete opposite. I feel overwhelmed and drained by the negative energy when we’re together. We argue more than usual, we lack physical touch, respect, trust and communication. We disagree about everything possible. I just want us to get back to the beginning where we did things for one another, held hands while spending quality time together, showered each other with small gifts and used words of affirmation to make each other feel great. How did we get here? How can I regain trust? Is the love still there? How do we forgive and move past our darkest days? How do we increase our intimacy? We just need to be us again.” Do you find yourself having similar thoughts or questions? Do you feel your relationship slowly drifting off course and recognize the need for change before it gets worse? Relationships go through various phases and some people feel their relationship will be fine if they just weather the storm. However, relationships don’t fix themselves. Sometimes you can feel like you tried everything and only received temporary results. If your relationship is in need of positive long-lasting results, contact us so we can assist you with achieving the results you desire.
Counseling For Men
Leading can be impossible at times. Rejection can trigger feelings of being defeated. Having the whole world on your shoulders without a plan, map or compass can be intimidating. Some people envision men to be exactly this; leaders who face rejections proudly while conquering the whole world without much help and very little vulnerability. People frequently forget men are also humans who need guidance, reassurance and the space to make mistakes and learn valuable lessons without judgment. The average man learned at an early age how to suppress his feelings and emotions in order to present to the world his dominate and warrior self. These concepts leave very little room for a male to become the man he truly desires. Life becomes tough for men just as often as it becomes tough for others. Too often men’s needs become ignored. Through counseling we provide a welcoming and judgment-free space where men can discuss their needs, life’s barriers, personal goals and more. At Creating Change, PLLC we are committed to working with our clients to achieve the lasting results they desire.
